When you are gone

The silence deafens me, when you’re gone
You are all I see, when you’re gone,
My sadness rents me for too long,
This was not how it was meant to be.

I feel your energy, when you’re gone,
Like electricity, switching on,
Your chemistry inside of me, swims along,
I don’t think this was meant to be.

All words whisper spiritually, when you’re gone,
Lyrics dance rhythmically, like a song,
Written out indelibly, so strong,
Maybe this was meant to be.

Your bed is empty, when you’re gone,
Your absence follows me, all along,
Your possessions tempt me, but it’s wrong,
I think this was meant to be.
